Database query execution via tracker parameter
Published Feb 8, 2024 · Updated May 15, 2025
SQL injection in delete-tracker.php in Daily Habit Tracker 1.0 allows remote attackers to issue database queries through a crafted GET request. The endpoint uses the tracker parameter in a database query without neutralizing SQL control characters, permitting stacked statements such as SELECT SLEEP. No authentication or user interaction is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates timed queries and database dumping, but not operating-system command execution.
