Administrative password disclosure via unauthenticated EEPROM command
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Information disclosure in Silex Technology DS-600 Firmware 1.4.1 allows remote attackers to obtain the administrative password. The UDP service on port 19540 returns EEPROM configuration data, including the administrative password, when it processes a crafted GET EEP_DATA command without enforcing access control. Network reachability to UDP port 19540 is sufficient, and no authentication or user interaction is required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
