Invalid memory access in HPE Athonet Core 11.0 through 11.6 allows remote attackers to interrupt cellular service with crafted S1AP traffic. The vEPC MME mishandles the ProtocolIE_ID field of an E-RAB NotToBeModifiedBearerModInd element, causing invalid memory access while parsing the payload. Exploitation requires access to the RAN-to-Core path and repeated crafted connections; it disrupts availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
