Reflected XSS in the Mattermost Jira plugin in affected Mattermost releases allows remote attackers to execute script in users' browsers. The plugin inserts user-controlled output into generated HTML pages without escaping special characters, so the browser treats the reflected value as active content. A Mattermost user must render the crafted response; successful exploitation runs script in the server's web origin without interrupting service.
