CVE-2024-2442Network attack vector

Sensitive file disclosure via path traversal

Published Mar 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024

Path traversal in Franklin Fueling System EVO 550 and EVO 5000 before 2.26.3.8963 allows remote attackers to read sensitive files. The CNA maps the flaw to CWE-25 but does not disclose the affected request endpoint or the file-path operation that fails to constrain traversal input. The network attack requires no authentication or user interaction, and reported impact is limited to file disclosure without modification or service interruption.
