Browser script execution via unsanitized search input
Published Feb 5, 2024 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Reflected XSS in Stimulsoft Dashboards.JS before 2024.1.2 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through the search bar. The search function inserts crafted image markup containing an onerror handler from the search field into browser-rendered content without neutralizing the executable HTML. Execution occurs when the search function is triggered in a user's browser and can read or modify data available to that page.
