Editor-level stored XSS via unescaped service names
Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Stored XSS in Salon Booking System 9.6.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Editor access to execute script via a service name. The plugin stores a crafted service name without adequate sanitization and renders it unescaped in the assistant editor's service-limit control. Exploitation requires Editor-level access to create the service and a user to open that control, exposing data accessible to that browser session.
