Browser script execution via column-name injection
Published Mar 7, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Cross-site scripting in XunRuiCMS 4.6.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via the Add Column Name parameter. The Add Column Name path incorporates attacker-controlled markup into generated web content without neutralizing script or HTML. Exploitation is network-reachable without prior privileges but requires another user to render the affected page; impact is limited to that user's browser context.
