CVE-2024-24377Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via unsanitized stamp parameter

Published Feb 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024

Command injection in iDocView 14.1.3_20231228 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted stamp parameter. ViewServiceImpl.convertWord2PdfStamp passes the request's stamp value through incomplete replacement into CmdUtil.runWindowsCmd, which invokes cmd /c. The published exploit first uses the default upload token to obtain a document UUID; neither the CVE record nor Crestron's product page connects this Windows-server application to CEN-IDOCV firmware.
