CVE-2024-2433Network attack vector

Authenticated management outage via unrestricted file uploads

Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated May 13, 2026

Improper authorization in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS Panorama allows remote authenticated users to exhaust a management disk partition. The web interface lets a read-only administrator upload enough files to completely fill one partition without authorization appropriate to that storage-consuming operation. A valid read-only administrator session is required; exhaustion blocks web-interface login and PAN-OS, WildFire, and content-image downloads, while the dataplane remains unaffected.
