Command execution via unsanitized MAC-filter parameter
Published Jan 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A3300R 17.0.0cu.557_B20221024 allows remote attackers to execute commands via the enable parameter. Uci_Set_Str concatenates the value into a uci command that CsteSystem passes to execv without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A crafted setMacFilterRules request must reach the management CGI, and successful exploitation grants command execution on the router.
