Unauthenticated XML disclosure via unsanitized sitemap path
Published Feb 7, 2024 · Updated Jun 5, 2025
Path traversal in Linea Grafica lgsitemaps before 1.6.6 allows remote attackers to download restricted XML files. The sitemap.php front controller inserts the name request parameter into a file path without basename normalization or permission checks, allowing directory components to escape restrictions. No account or user interaction is required, and exposure includes module configuration XML otherwise protected by .htaccess or a WAF.
