Data theft and admin access via uncast identifier
Published Feb 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024
SQL injection in HiPresta Gift Wrapping Pro before 1.4.1 allows remote attackers to read or alter shop data through a crafted request. The addGiftWrappingCartValue() front-controller method concatenates the unvalidated id_cart request value into two UPDATE statements instead of casting it to an integer. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful injection can disclose sensitive tables, create administrator access, alter settings, or delete shop data.
