Authenticated root command execution via getPing.egi

Command injection in the 4ipnet EAP767 3.42.00 web interface allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands as root. The getPing.egi endpoint passes its url query parameter to a ping operation after rejecting semicolons but accepting a pipe, enabling shell metacharacter injection. Valid management credentials and network access to the interface are required; successful exploitation grants root-level command execution on the access point.
