Settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 9, 2024
CSRF in Salon Booking System 9.6.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings through a forged admin request. The salon-settings handler accepts posted salon_settings values without validating a WordPress nonce, so the administrator's session commits attacker-chosen configuration. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open attacker-controlled content, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized settings modification.
