Credential hash disclosure via automatic UNC resolution

Improper UNC path handling in Teamwire Windows desktop client 2.0.1 through 2.4.0 allows attackers to capture Windows credential hashes. When pasted message text matches a UNC path, the client resolves it immediately and initiates SMB authentication with the current Windows logon credentials before displaying the text. Exploitation requires a user to paste attacker-controlled text and network reachability to an attacker-controlled SMB endpoint; the resulting authentication material can be captured or redirected.
