CVE-2024-24275Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Command execution via unsanitized search content

Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Teamwire Windows desktop client 2.0.1 through 2.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands via search results. Search highlighting passes unencoded message HTML to AngularJS trustAsHtml, while 2.3.0 also renders unsanitized group names in search and directory views. A victim must display a matching search result or affected group view; NW.js exposes Node.js functions that run commands with the client's privileges.
