Improper input validation in Rockwell Automation PowerFlex 527 allows remote attackers to crash the embedded web server via network requests. Rockwell Automation has not disclosed which web request or input reaches the faulty validation logic. The web server is disabled by default; when enabled, exploitation requires no authentication or user interaction, and recovery requires a manual restart.
