Authenticated command execution via unchecked Subversion client
Published Feb 8, 2024 · Updated May 8, 2025
Command injection in EasyCorp ZenTao 18.0 through 18.10 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary operating-system commands. The repo model's checkConnection method passes the attacker-controlled Subversion client value to an operating-system execution function without neutralizing shell metacharacters. The upstream issue identifies the vulnerable workflow as post-login, and successful exploitation runs commands with the web-service account's privileges.
