Unauthenticated configuration disclosure via crafted CGI request
Published Feb 8, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
Information disclosure in Cellinx NVT Web Server 5.0.0.014 allows remote attackers to read configuration data via a crafted POST request. The /cgi-bin/GetJsonValue.cgi endpoint processes the attacker-controlled POST request and returns configuration values without enforcing authentication. Network access to the CGI endpoint is sufficient, and the documented consequence is limited to confidentiality loss.
