Unauthenticated SQL injection via task deletion parameter
Published Jan 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 23, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester School Task Manager 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data through the task parameter. The delete-task.php endpoint passes the GET task value into a MySQL query without effective neutralization, enabling boolean, error, stacked-query, and time-based payloads. No authentication or user interaction is required, and stacked queries can alter data or interrupt the database-backed service.
