Authenticated database access via tracker SQL injection

Published Jan 29, 2024 · Updated May 29, 2025

SQL injection in SourceCodester Daily Habit Tracker App 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data. The delete-tracker.php endpoint uses the tracker GET value in a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling boolean-, error-, stacked-, and time-based payloads. Administrative access to the web application is required, and successful exploitation can expose or alter the habit_tracker_db database.
