Unauthenticated administrative access via exposed configuration page
Published Oct 2, 2024 · Updated Feb 10, 2025
Authentication bypass in Ruijie Networks RG-NBS2009G-P RGOS 10.4(1)P2 Release(9736) allows remote attackers to gain administrative access. The /system/config_menu.htm endpoint serves administrative controls without first requiring authentication, including configuration upload and factory-reset operations. Network access to the management interface is sufficient; successful use permits configuration changes and can interrupt the switch by resetting or crashing it.
