CVE-2024-24098

Database query manipulation via undisclosed News Feed input

Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024

SQL injection in the News Feed of Code Projects Scholars Tracking System 1.0 allows attackers to manipulate database queries. The public disclosures do not identify the request parameter, PHP file, or query construction operation that accepts the untrusted News Feed input. Published access assessments conflict: NVD requires a local low-privileged user, while CISA rates unauthenticated network reachability; successful injection can expose, alter, or interrupt access to application data.
