Menu deletion via nonce-free bulk action
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
CSRF in Wow-Company Float Menu before 6.0.1 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary menus through an administrator's browser. The bulk-action handler accepts a POST to the delete-items action with attacker-chosen menu IDs without validating a CSRF nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled content, and the demonstrated effect is deletion of selected menu records.
