SQL injection via crafted list parameters
Published Feb 8, 2024 · Updated Jun 5, 2025
SQL injection in Novel-Plus 4.3.0-RC1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute SQL through /novel/author/list parameters. The author-list endpoint incorporates attacker-controlled offset, limit, and sort values into SQL without neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful injection can read or modify application data and interrupt the service.
