Stored XSS via unescaped admin settings
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in jatacid Admin Page Spider 3.31 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through admin settings. The settings handler stores administrator-supplied values without sufficient sanitization, and affected admin pages render them without output escaping. Administrator privileges and either WordPress multisite or disabled unfiltered_html are required; opening an injected page executes the script in a user's browser.
