Remote code execution via unsanitized column preview
Published Apr 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Beekeeper Studio 4.1.13 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted database column name. The tabulator-popup-container renders a column name without validation, so hovering over its header preview executes embedded script with access to local data. Exploitation requires the victim to open an attacker-controlled SQLite file or connect to an attacker-controlled database and hover over the malicious column header.
