Transport security compromise via disabled hostname verification

Improper certificate validation in ChargePoint Home Flex allows network-adjacent attackers to compromise transport security. The CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST setting fails to validate that the server certificate matches the intended host, permitting an attacker-controlled server to be trusted. No authentication or user interaction is required, but an adjacent network position and another vulnerability are required to turn the trust failure into code execution as root.
