Information disclosure via unauthenticated DLT access
Published Jan 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 1, 2025
Missing authentication in the DLT interface in Alpine Halo9 all versions allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information. The service listens on TCP port 3490 by default and grants access to DLT functionality without authenticating the requester. Network reachability alone is sufficient; the direct impact is information disclosure, although the disclosed data can support a separate code-execution chain.
