Stack-based buffer overflow in Sony XAV-AX5500 firmware 1.13 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted WMV file. The WMV/ASF parser processes a crafted Extended Content Description Object beyond a fixed-length stack buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open the file or visit a malicious page and runs code in the device context.
