Improper certificate validation in all Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX versions allows network-adjacent attackers to alter downloaded information. The HTTPS telematics client accepts a server certificate without proper validation, allowing an attacker in the network path to substitute downloaded data. No authentication is required; root code execution requires chaining this flaw with other vulnerabilities.
