Unauthenticated RCE via JSP precompilation path confusion
Published Feb 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Authentication bypass in JetBrains TeamCity On-Premises 2017.1 through 2023.11.2 allows remote attackers to gain administrative control via HTTP(S). The request interceptor treats a semicolon-suffixed JSP path with jsp_precompile as precompilation and skips authorization checks. Unauthenticated HTTP(S) reachability is sufficient, and administrative control enables remote code execution on the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
