Stored XSS via globally disabled content security policy
Published Jan 24, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
Stored XSS in Jenkins Red Hat Dependency Analytics Plugin 0.7.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in viewers' browsers. The CRDAStep.run method sets hudson.model.DirectoryBrowserSupport.CSP to an empty string after the RHDA build step runs, globally stripping CSP from Jenkins-served workspaces, user content, and archived artifacts. Exploitation requires control of a served file and a viewer to open it; instances using a Resource Root URL are unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
