CVE-2024-23859Network attack vector

Session cookie theft via unencoded flatamount parameter

Published Jan 26, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Reflected XSS in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) 1.0 allows remote attackers to steal an authenticated user's session cookie. The taxstructurelinecreate.php endpoint returns the user-controlled flatamount parameter without sufficient output encoding. A victim must be authenticated and follow a crafted URL; injected script then runs in that user's browser context and can expose the active session cookie.
