Session-cookie theft via unencoded batch number
Published Jan 26, 2024 · Updated May 29, 2025
Reflected XSS in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) 1.0 allows remote attackers to steal session cookies through a crafted URL. The /cupseasylive/grnlinecreate.php endpoint places the attacker-controlled batchno parameter into a generated page without sufficient encoding. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to follow the URL, after which injected script runs in that user's browser session and exposes the cookie.
