HTTP request smuggling in aiohttp before 3.9.2 allows remote attackers to inject requests through servers using its Python HTTP parser. The parser accepts non-dot HTTP-version separators, Unicode digits, and invalid method or header-name characters instead of rejecting malformed input consistently. Exploitation requires the Python parser; proxy deployments permit request injection, while direct exposure permits resource exhaustion through unhandled validation exceptions.
