CVE-2024-23825Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Internal data disclosure via URL filter bypass

Published Jan 30, 2024 · Updated May 29, 2025

SSRF in the URL import feature in TablePress before 2.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP resources. The destination filter blocks 169.254.169.254 literally but accepts alternate numeric forms and DNS names that resolve to that address. An Author-level WordPress account can use the import preview to issue GET requests and display returned metadata as CSV, exposing credentials only when the hosting configuration permits metadata access.
