Improper authorization in all HID Global reader configuration cards allows physically proximate attackers to extract credential and administrator keys. A compatible reader communicates with a nearby or possessed configuration card and returns credential and device-administrator key material without enforcing authorization to read it. Physical proximity to or possession of the card is required; reported impact is limited to disclosure, with no integrity or availability effect.
