Out-of-bounds write in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2201 and V2302 before V2302.0007 allows attackers to execute code via an SPP file. The SPP file parser writes past the end of an allocated buffer when it processes crafted file data. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file; successful memory corruption executes code in the current process context.
