CVE-2024-23785Network attack vector

Unauthorized settings changes via forged browser requests

Published Feb 14, 2024 · Updated Oct 27, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in Sharp JH-RVB1 and JH-RV11 B0.1.9.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to change product settings. Sharp and JPCERT/CC have not disclosed the request handler, affected setting endpoints, or missing anti-CSRF validation that permits the forged request. Exploitation requires user interaction while the attack-origin computer can reach the controller on the same network, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized configuration change.
