Unauthenticated reboot via exposed HTTP endpoint
Published Jun 26, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
Denial of service in HMS Networks Anybus X-Gateway AB7832-F3 on all firmware versions allows remote attackers to reboot it via HTTP. The unauthenticated web interface exposes /slave/reboot.html on port 80 and treats a GET request as an immediate reboot command. Network access to port 80 is the only gate; repeated requests can keep the appliance unavailable and stop traffic between connected industrial networks.
