Script execution via unescaped post excerpts

Cross-site scripting in Ghost before 5.76.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a reader's browser through a crafted post excerpt. The excerpt.js renderer places excerpt text into post summaries without HTML escaping, allowing embedded markup and scripts to remain executable. A reader must load a summary containing the payload, which then runs within the page's browser origin and can read or alter accessible page data.
