Improper input validation in Google Android 12, 12L, 13, and 14 allows local users to gain privileges via oversized account options. UserManagerService accepts overlong strings in a PersistableBundle that can fail XML persistence, creating a user without intended restrictions. Exploitation requires user interaction during user creation and produces a less-restricted local account rather than remote code execution.
