CVE-2024-23692Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via template parser bypass

Published May 31, 2024 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Server-side template injection in Rejetto HFS 2.3m and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through HTTP requests. The search parameter is echoed before template processing, while percent-symbol and empty Host substitutions bypass escaping and expose HFS macros, including exec. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful requests run commands with the privileges of the account hosting HFS.exe.
