OS command injection in NETGEAR FVS336Gv2 through 4.3.3-6 and FVS336Gv3 through 4.3.5-3 allows remote authenticated users to run commands. The Telnet interface fails to neutralize crafted input in the util backup_configuration command before invoking operating-system commands. Administrative Telnet access is required, but successful injection executes as root and permits complete device control.
