Unrestricted firmware upload in Motorola Mobility MR2600 1.0.7 allows adjacent authenticated users to execute code on the router. Exodus Intelligence has not disclosed the upload handler or the validation failure that accepts attacker-controlled firmware images. The administrative upload path ordinarily requires authentication, but the published record states that this gate can be bypassed, resulting in complete device compromise.
