CVE-2024-23625

Root command execution via SUBSCRIBE Callback injection

Published Jan 25, 2024 · Updated May 29, 2025

Command injection in D-Link DAP-1650 firmware 1.04B01 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands as root via UPnP. The SUBSCRIBE handler places attacker-controlled Callback content into a command context without neutralizing command syntax. The interface is reachable from the LAN side without authentication, and successful exploitation grants full control of the embedded device.
