CVE-2024-23600Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Password disclosure via protected-field query filtering

Published Aug 1, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024

Information disclosure in PingIDM 7.0.0 through 7.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer password data via crafted query filters. The query-filter handler accepts protected password properties and nested encrypted-object paths, then returns match results for attacker-controlled prefixes. Read access to the User collection is required, and repeated Starts-With or Contains queries disclose plaintext passwords or encrypted password fields.
