Stack-based buffer overflow in Lenovo's recovery bootloader on 2012–2014 Windows 7 and 8 preloads allows local users to execute code. Lenovo identifies the affected component as the system recovery bootloader but has not published the overflowing operation or attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires privileged local access and enables arbitrary code execution in the boot environment; no supported Lenovo devices are affected.
